The Seeds We Sow

Sow flowers to make a garden bloom,

Let colours burst and banish gloom.

With every petal, soft and bright,

You weave the world in purest light.

But beware the seeds of thorn and spite,

For they grow in shadows, out of sight.

Though they seem small, a harmless thing,

Their roots will twist and sorrow bring.

The thorns you sow with careless hand,

Will soon arise and take their stand.

They'll weave a path beneath your feet,

A prickling pain, a bitter greet.

So choose your seeds with thoughtful care,

Plant those of love, not of despair.

For in the garden that you grow,

The seeds you plant will surely show.

Sow flowers, dear one, with tender grace,

And let their beauty fill your space.

But shun the thorns that tempt and lure,

For in their grip, no joy is pure.

The garden you create is yours to tend,

Let flowers bloom, and thorns amend.

For in the soil of life, it's true,

The seeds you sow will grow in you.
