The Secret Language of Flowers
A poem about one of our life's most important aspects
By Baris OvaliPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

Each petal holds a secret code,
A hidden meaning, yet untold.
The language of the flowers,
Is one that's rarely been consoled.
Roses speak of love and passion,
Lilies of innocence and grace,
Buttercups of childhood memories,
And daisies of a simple place.
Tulips show a deep desire,
Daffodils a promise true,
Sunflowers a symbol of devotion,
And violets a token blue.
But the language of the flowers,
Is not just for the eye to see.
It's a message from the heart,
For the soul to finally be free.
So take the time to listen,
To the whispers of the bloom,
For they hold the secrets of our lives,
And the beauty of our doom.
