I stand on the edge of the sea
looking out at what is to be.
To be is to be alive to breathe
into the air of the ocean spray
as the waters flow away
into other oceans of the Atlantic,
the Pacific, the Mediterranean, the Red Sea,
and all other waters that be
to flow across our planet earth.
I look out at the sea,
listen to the sounds of the seagulls,
and how I think about birth,
and life and death of humans and all,
as we gaze at the clouds, the sea.
The seagulls sing and fly as
I move my hand up and down
the bay embracing the birds, the sea,
the clouds as the birds fly around
in circles singing loudly.
I feel the love of the ocean spray and
the peace of the breeze as I celebrate
all of the nature around me
and the moment in time of
this date in the past.
At peace at last
for one moment in time
as I know the moment will
go into oblivion.
My photos, my video will survive
the past, present, and future of the sounds
of time until
the planet spins around the universe as
promises of time continues to flow,
as the oceans ride goes in and out
of the bay to flow again to the rivers
and lakes of the globe as they flow.
I hear the seagulls shrill singing as I hold my camera
as they pose for the day
to remind me of this moment in time,
this second,
this hour,
of the month,
of the day,
I remember so well that very moment
as I told the birds I loved them too.
So shrill, so loud, their voices spread
love and peace for all.

Time is of essense.
Time is of the world
of the globe.
The seagulls live on
all over the globe
on beaches across the world
of decades and years and centuries
as the story is told
around the globe
