A gentle breeze whisks my hair against my cheek.
The sand warms my toes as they sink.
My own nirvana, to put my mind to ease.
Seagulls screech as they circle those beneath.
The salty air makes it easier to breath.
My senses engulfed with its simplicity.
Memories of younger days fill my heart with bliss.
I rejoice as the cold-water rushes against me.
My anxiety follows back to the sea.
The waves beckon me into their domain.
They hold me in their embrace as I dive into the world beneath.
My own oasis from the troubles that taunt me.
My peach in a world so overwhelming around me.
The home where my heart longs to be.
