The Scream of Silence (saad poetry)
poem about the kind of silence that screams louder than any goodbye.

Poem:
One day, just like that —
You left without a word.
No farewell, no final glance,
Just silence, painfully unheard.
That same room, those same four walls,
Still ache for the sound of your laughter.
The ticking clock now screams alone,
Each moment mourns what came after.
Your teacup still sits by the sill,
Half full… or half gone?
Just like my world after you,
Where nothing truly moves on.
Your footsteps no longer echo,
But I still hear them in the air.
In every quiet breath of time,
Your voice is softly there.
Your photo on the wall remains,
Whispering things I cannot see.
Not to my eyes—but to my soul,
It clings and speaks to me.
The evenings still arrive as before,
But they no longer bring their light.
The nights still pass—but sleep?
Has long abandoned my sight.
They say that time will heal,
But time has done no such thing.
The ache still breathes inside me,
And the loneliness still stings.
There is a scream inside this silence,
One the ears cannot ever trace.
But in the hollow of my heartbeat,
It echoes through every space.
