The Sacred Sexual

Time to Shed the Shame

By Karen LaRuePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Sometimes we walk the line of sexuality

With hints and innuendo

Sometimes we hide from it entirely

Fearing its power

Sometimes we embrace it with a full force of passion that is overcoming in the most beautiful of ways

The programing is real in our society

It's bad, but it's not

It depends on gender

Only somethings are bad, but those things might change weekly

Fuck all of that bullshit

I am who I am

Full of passion and curiosity

Primal urges and carefully constructed kink scenes

It is, after all, a language of love

And some of us speak different languages

And that's okay

So come out of the shadows

It's okay to be human

And sexuality can be part of being human

Though it's not a requirement

It's time to shed the shame.
