The Rules Begin to Dissolve

Another moment between fear and hope

An overencompassing sky like glass,

so vast I know it will last, forever if it must,

I bow to its slow and raw fulfilling trust,

While I feel the Earth breathing,

in nature, in living, in death.

Yet in this moment, the mountains lean in to listen,

even the rivers hesitate a bit mid-flow,

What reality is this anew?

Are the rules going to dissolve?

I feel like I stand now at the edge of everything wild,

Rebirth, rewire, with dizziness, and inner fire.

Grateful for everything that is to come,

Yet fearful about what humanity might have already done,

Will humanity ruin our world? Or will nature win still?
