THE ROCK

The Rock

Though it has a peaceful surface its hard to brake

We build our foundations from it so our houses won't shake

You can smash it into pieces but its character stays strong

Even when placed through a grinder its name lives on

Because of the pebbles and stones that follow after

They all recognize that the Rock is the master

The Rock is one of a kind and has the strength we all should

It consistantly displays the substance of its character

We all wish we could

It's faithful, trustworthy, blameless and committed

We're guilty, lukewarm, transparent and inflicted

Don't you want to be like this Rock?
