The Robin our Sweetest Bird
A flash of fire on feathered breast,
A tiny heart that knows no rest.
Perched on a branch, a song takes flight,
A melody that cuts the night.
Its voice, a thread both soft and clear,
Spills secrets only silence hears.
No grand display, no boast or call,
Just humble notes that rise, then fall.
The sweetest bird, so small, so bright,
Sings not for fame but pure delight.
And though the world may rush and spin,
Its simple tune still a call from within.
