The first step's the hardest
A step to be taken regardless
The night is dark and the road untarred
The destination is filled with opportunities abound
But the road to agadez is hazy and brown
Strutting through the sweltering heat of the sahara
With nothing but dunes in sight
The say God's earth is green. But the road to agadez is brown, gloomy and dry
Sweet, sweet agadez, the home of camel cheese and dates
How I anticipate your warmth and hospitality
But the road to agadez is hazy and brown
The hardship to meet reach you is abound
Regardless, I shall reach you with gait..
