The Rekindled Hope for Life

My hope for you today

By Hridya SharmaPublished about a year ago 1 min read

In the quest for the ebb and flow,

In the hammered wheels of agility and the art of being slow.

The due course of nature strides in its crafty demeanour,

Belies the man, confounded by the uncertainty of what lies further.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I deem to be enthralled by the call of the unknown,

The quick wit of the source fosters the world to be called its home.

Off the tides and beckoning the caution of the swindle mind,

Advertises in their appalled enamour creep in silent footsteps behind.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Dejection in its desperate woes abhors the stellar of me,

Sighing in the atrocity of the darkness that lies, I yearn for a moment of serenity.

Drawing on the applause, the echoes of appraising validate their gallant notions,

Yet I shut the window sill, to not breathe the air of external devotion.

----------------------------------------------------------

A lesson in time learnt, my existence does not pivot around the counterfeited fallacies others hold,

The true essence of my joy lies in the worth that in every crevice of my soul I behold.

For life may run its blatant summons that might test my resilience to my nub,

Though I might dance, I might cry, I might rest but I would never give up.

I hope you don't too
