“The Earth
is not the environment,
something outside of us that we need to care for.
The Earth
is us.
Taking care of the Earth,
we take care of ourselves.”
The Earth is an extension of us.
Every mountain, river and forest
is a ‘reflection’ of ourselves.
Our lives are so interwoven with this planet
that we cannot live anywhere else.
We know this
but we don’t always take the time
to remember it.
What we nurture in nature,
we nourish within our own hearts.
When we look after the Earth
with the same responsibility
as we do looking after ourselves,
we begin to understand
just how important
the Earth is to us
‘personally’.
Living in the moment
will really ‘bring this home’ to us.
Love the Earth and we will love ourselves.
LIVE AND LOVE LIFE!

This poem feels like a meditation. So peaceful grounded and inspiring. A beautiful reminder to love life and love the world around us.
Tears from the Mother Earth are real we must act now to save her ♦️♦️♦️
