Oh, the ravages of war, the toll it takes,

On the land, on the people, on the stakes.

The clash of swords, the sound of guns,

The destruction and chaos that it spawns.

Brothers turn against brothers in the name of power,

The thirst for dominance a seed that devours.

Innocent lives caught in the crossfire,

Their voices silenced in the mire.

The battle rages on, the cost too high,

The aftermath a painful, lingering sigh.

The scars run deep, a reminder of the past,

Of the lives lost, of the memories that last.

The cycle of violence repeats again and again,

A never-ending story of loss and pain.

Can we find a way to break the chain,

And bring an end to this perpetual stain?

Let us strive for peace, for a world without strife,

Where we value each other's lives.

Where we work together to heal the wounds,

And build a world where war is but a distant tune
