I walk the edge of fine golden scrollwork
My eyes too dazzled to see the end coming
I crashed into a hairline of ice
Skidding off the edge
Swimming upwards
Through shards of rainbow-flavored glass
Head bobbing through fairy floss clouds
Flopping on a twinkling translucent diamond sand beach
Wriggling through inch by inch
With Broken arms and tied-up legs
Emerging from my glittering Chrysalis
Only to fly up toward the sun and find
A golden spiral waiting for me to alight upon its slender line
Replaying the shine in my eyes as I recline in pure bliss

Wow! Such a wonderful piece, K.B.
This was very striking, very beautiful and lyrical. Really liked the deeper aspects of it, that were not marred by the wordplay! Well done, KB!
