The Race For The Win

Ink Magazine contest

By LizbethPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

I started strong, my spirit high,

A second place, I aimed to fly.

Ink Originals, my shining stage,

A contest fierce, a thrilling rage.

But storms of luck, they shifted quick,

A slip, a stumble, a tiny prick.

Now third place, I stand today,

My dreams flicker, slipping away.

Yet in my heart, a fire burns bright,

A burning desire to win this fight.

For I must triumph, I must prevail,

To fix my ride, to tell my tale.

This setback’s just a stepping stone,

A challenge faced, a chance to hone.

I'll rise again, with grit and grace,

To claim my spot, to win the race.

So here I stand, with hope anew,

Determined, fierce, and strong in view.

The prize is mine, I vow to strive

To fix my ride, and truly thrive!
