The Quiet One

Landon

Landon Riley Lowder

As he made his way into the world too early, his mom cried out, I jumped in the car and flew to the NICU.

As we reached the hospital, I ask where is my grandson?

I’m not leaving.

I took his little hand, said you’re ok Granny right here.

His breathing slowed, he relaxed

He cried a little whimper so soft my ears could barely hear.

He is grown but a quiet man he remains

Kind, talented, mom blue eyes and dad chin.

I can’t wait to see what a special gift to the world he will be and to me!
