When presence speaks louder than words
I like it too...
When we can do things by ourselves
But he still wants to do it for us
Not because he thinks we can't...
But because he wants to be by our side at all times
It doesn't have to be over the top, it doesn't have to be romantic at all
Just a little intention that he wants to help with small things
It's really warm
I know he loves us...
Without having to say much
Because sometimes love is measured by caring
That we never ask for
When someone sees that we can do it...
But still wants to be here, helping
Supporting, filling up
It makes the love grow deeper
Without having to try at all
Someone who doesn't want to help because it's necessary...
But because "wanting to be by our side"
That's what makes us feel
Loving ourselves in the version with him is really good

Just take good care of him

Do you understand haiku?
Do you ever get sidetracked when writing? I do. I think it must be in the nature of the creative mind to draw connections and have a need to explore them. Since the World Wide Web became established in the 1990s, this has become a lot easier to do. The phenomenon being described as ‘going down a wormhole.’ Sometimes a distraction, but I have written some of my best work when I have disappeared down one web wormhole or another. It also happened in the days when most of my research was book based so we can't blame it on the internet. Book research was just slower. These days, guided by my AI friend, it is much, much quicker.
