The Quick Brown Fox and the Lazy Log

U1

By James GreenPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

In the forest, where the leaves were green

Lived a fox, quick and lean

He was always on the go

Never resting, never slow

One day, as he ran through the trees

He came across a lazy log, at ease

It lay there, motionless and still

But the fox had a thrill

He didn't hesitate, not for a moment

He gathered all his strength and momentum

And with a mighty leap and a bound

He soared above the log, without a sound

The log lay there, astonished and amazed

It had never been jumped, in all its days

But the fox, he didn't slow his pace

He kept on running, with a grin on his face

For the fox knew he was meant to fly

To chase his dreams and never shy

From any challenge that came his way

And so he ran, as fast as he could, every day.
