I sit at my desk,

My books open wide,

I am ready to learn,

I turn to the first page,

The words begin to flow,

I am drawn into the story,

I am lost in the glow.

The hours pass by,

I am unaware,

I am lost in the world of knowledge,

I am not there.

I am transported to another place,

Another time,

Another world,

I am filled with awe.

I am learning,

I am growing,

I am expanding my mind,

I am on a quest for knowledge.

I will not stop,

I will not be defeated,

I will find the answers.
