The Queen and Her Silent Knight

Love stories are warming tales to tell

The Queen and Her Silent Knight

A queen sat still

Gold losing shine

Her knight beside her

Love quiet and warm

Days moved slow

Duty shaped them

He watched her close

Her heart trembled

Hate pressed outside

War clouds gathered

She felt the pull

He would not bend

Calm filled the night

They shared truth

Her laugh returned

His eyes brightened

Misery stormed in

The gates shook hard

He stepped forward

Shielding her soul

Joy touched dawn

Fear slipped back

Light found them

Breath grew easy

Love stood firm

Bound through trial

He held his post

She held his hope

Peace came at last

Soft and clear

They walked as one

Their story intact

The quiet intensity of this piece is wonderful. Love truly stands firm here, not in grand gestures, but in shared truth and unwavering presence. 'She held his hope' is an incredibly moving line. Excellent work! 👑🛡️
