The Problem with a Stubborn Dog
Maybe he likes being a dog not a pet

The Problem with a Stubborn Dog
A dog with spirit, full of pride,
Refuses to budge, won’t be denied.
A stubborn glance, a wagging tail,
Determined to stand, no matter how frail.
Sit, stay, roll—commands all day,
But in his world, he’ll choose his way.
A stubborn bark, a playful growl,
Ignoring the rules, he’ll prowl and howl.
You call him close, you call him loud,
He lifts his chin, stands tall and proud.
The leash in hand, he won’t comply,
Eyes that question—“Why should I?”
But in his heart, so full of grace,
Is loyalty that cannot be replaced.
For though he tests your every might,
He’ll be your shadow, day and night.
So cherish the stubborn, the wild, the free,
For in their ways, they just want to be.
The problem, you see, is not the dog—
It’s learning to live with their unbroken fog.
