The silent secrets of a sigh
the first glance in a lover's eye
The calming feeling, of a touch
the rise of tide and urgent rush
The warm caress of shallowed breaths
the promise of a love till death
Consumes the body and the mind
when bodies are laced and intertwined
When passion fuels the panting heart
in ways the tongue alone, cannot
With trembling hands and aching urge
the two compelled together, merge
And love, its captives, will embrace
leaving doubt behind, without a trace
Only the here and now exists
lost in my lover's wanting kiss
