The Pond of Hidden Fears

Where tears cry alone

Hidden wounds,

Hidden scars,

Hidden tears,

Falling into the pond of

hidden fears,

If you see a little light in my smile,

You won't see the bulbs that grow dim,

And fade into this hidden horror forest,

I call depression,

Another morning;

I open the curtains,

A half-smile dances on my lips,

As sunlight floods my room,

I wish my head could keep the

beauty of that light, forever,

But even sunlight fades into the

night.

Hidden wounds,

Hidden scars,

Hidden tears,

Falling into the pond of

hidden fears,

This is the pond of hidden fears,

Where tears cry alone.
