reflecting on meaning

what if there were no such thing as a higher path or a lower path?

purpose, destiny, soul mission -

what if those were just concepts we created to help us make sense of the unfathomable reality that we're somehow conscious flesh roaming around doing things on a giant sphere of matter?

maybe meaning is just something we've created to make us feel better about our own existence so we know what to do with our time because we can't stand to imagine that maybe there's actually no point. that maybe we're just here. we've become so obsessed with meaning that even just reading this probably gives you anxiety.

but a deeper part of you feels calmed. relieved. validated.

the part of you that knows that there's never anything to worry about because this life - this human experience is just a little trip and then we'll move on and exist somewhere else and laugh at how serious we thought it was.

but since i have a mind that likes to assign meaning, i can't help but think that the p0int of this experience is to feel what it feels like to search and worry and desire just to realize we never left home.

to fight and judge just to connect again -

to think that we're separate to remember we're one.

just for fun.

literally just for fun.
