Looking through the lens, she sees you
Her words are encouraging and kind too
The photographer knows how difficult being in front of the camera can be
On the other side, is where she shares that vulnerability
She knows the focus shows viewers the important part
She builds you up with encouragement from the heart
Her photos transform and transport all who see
If you point it out she'll thank you simply
Talented, creative, compassionate, and smart
Her photos are more than images, they are pure art
If you ask, she'll gladly walk you through
How the focus and pose can bring out what's true
More than anything, she wants you to know you're in a safe space
She knows how vital it is to find that place
If there was one more thing she'd want you to know
Is this; be yourself, embrace your glow!
If you absorb all she gives, you'll say

It's difficult for me to know where to start with a review of this book as it was, for me, an entirely unique experience and one that I'll probably never have again. I don't want that to be interpreted as unenjoyable but it has left me scratching my head a little and ruminating on its content, its themes and its characters.
