What do u fear
Why does imperfection scare u
Why do u shy in the face of your own blemishes
Why do we scar ourselves with improbable thoughts
We chase perfect hair
Perfect skin prefect lashes
Untouchable weight goals
The perfect breasts the flawless thighs
Plumped up lips n round behinds
Bigger ccs or larger implants
We tweek & alter
Just one more touch up
God forbid u catch me in this angle
Why cannot we accept ourselves
Yet such harsh criticism comes If we do
In a world preaching so much self love
We adjust to every ones opinion on what's really in
Quick to change my mind and even body if only to please u
Because we all want to be accepted
If only the world will praise me for what I fear I lack
Who r we really beyond all the adjustments
Take a look beautiful deep inside
You are so much more than your perfect disguise..
