They weren’t what anyone expected
As they landed and introduced themselves with our heads like we were connected
Their skin was too perfect and smooth
They almost looked human but like forever in youth.
They had digital images erupt from their arms
It’s how they communicated they meant us no harm
We knew they were real but it was still a little shocking
We always thought they were grey or green and big eyes bulging
With their digital images they asked us to show them around
It’s the only way to know what they want, they didn’t make a sound
We took them to the theater, the stage not the movie kind
We thought music and art would be a great experience to the mind
We never expected the emotional response they had
They moved with the music and felt the scenes good and bad
If they could cry I’m certain they would have
What I would give to hear them laugh
I’m not sure why were so afraid
I guess the unknown makes us that way
They were thankful to us for being so nice
Next we were taking them to Disney on Ice!
