There is a space that creates a place

Where thoughts can be relaxed no matter how hectic or frightening

It is that space between day and night or just before sunrise

It is that space where the sky turns purple as the sun goes down or begins to rise

It is this space that creates a place

That always says to the weary mind; everything will be okay

You look out as the darkness fades and sunlight kisses the earth

Or, you pause as the darkness comes in as it always does; but this time you welcome it

Purple is the color that always means infinite possibilities, new beginnings or sorrows eventually fade

The peace of purple must be why it is the color of royalty
