The Pain of an Orphan

The Bridge Became his Home

Tears has been his companion

The street is the only friend around

His hope for survival is only on God

How can he forget so soon

When Death came Knocking

And took both parents away

Looks like a dreams but it's real

Aunty Bisi offered to take him in, but made life a living hell for him

He made him do all the chores

He wish he could accept his fate

But the scars from each broken plate, the mark from several beatings is countless

The torture became unbearable

His only way of escape was running away

To save his life hopping for better days

Wondering who will be the saviour

When will his saviour come.

That's his prayer day and Night

Who will save an Orphan
