Death, a silent visitor, comes to our door
Uninvited, unwelcome, yet always sure
He takes away what's precious, what's dear
Leaving only sorrow, only tears
His touch is cold, his presence stark
He leaves behind only emptiness, only dark
We plead with him, we beg him to stay
But he takes away, and goes on his way
We're left with memories, with grief, with pain
Wishing we could turn back time, wishing we could remain
But Death, he doesn't listen, he doesn't care
He takes away, and leaves us with only pain
He's a thief in the night, a robber of joy
Leaving behind only sorrow, only anguish
We're left to pick up the pieces, to mend the tear
But Death, he's already gone, and we're left to face the fear.
