The Other Half

A Poem

Lying in bed,

entangled in the arms of a loved one

Your eyes graze the ceiling,

glimpsing your reflections - in a mirror

You quickly avert your gaze,

remembering the mirror is a portal,

the writhing forms above you, demons

If you look them in the eye,

they just might notice you,

and that would totally ruin the moment

About the Creator

James Albert

Hoping to share my love of poetry and find a unique voice among the cacophony. Some dark humor, a little adventure, a little irony, mostly strange. Please comment if you like something... or if you don't. `V(^c^)V`
