The Opposite of What I Want

A beginning, in the end.

By Adrian RuizPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

The opposite of what I want

Repellent and attraction in one package

It makes me smile and cry at the same time

It makes me hate the fact that I love sometimes

It makes me want to be a better person for not one but two lives

It makes me want to get on my knees and beg for happiness

As long as I can hold her hand, I'm living again

A complicated but simple black little box

Containing numerous amounts of contradictions and paradoxes

With white words so powerful they create curves and destroys lines

With the dexterity to build and break

Create and destroy

ind and hide

It's worth is questionable to some

Mystery and intrigue

Sounds like a terrible gift to give

It's simple and complex

It's pain and comfort

It's depth and simplicity

It's tears and smiles

It's euphoria and depression

It's hugs and punches

It's truth and lies

It's a bet and a risk

It's night and day

It's plastic that doesn't melt

It's danger and safety

it's summer and winter

It's strawberries and grapefruits

It's tea and tequila

It's cute and scary

It's motorcycles and flats

It's heels at a get-together

It's movies and books

It's fuzzy socks and food

It's dinosaurs and cats

It's Makeup and chokers

It's blankets when it's hot

It's pj's and thongs

It's sex and love

It's a gamble and a guarantee

It's my gift and no questions asked
