I used to believe words sworn are forever

Keeping an oath that you hope lasts longer

Until such time, gone are the days

Moments turned to memories of haze

Then one quiet moment, pages are turned

Flipped to twenty-nine eleven, never burned

Plans are His, kept known and true

No hint of harm, no ink of failure

Aim to prosper and ignite hope for future

Reminding you are the wonderful creature

Please be patient, stubborn heart of flesh

From stone to jewel, so precious to suppress

Now she has learned, trust the only Promise Keeper

Never human’s utterance only bound to fail her

Abba’s the only Promise Fulfiller to cling onto

Hold tight, stand firm on His cornerstone where you belong to.
