The Ones Who Hear the Silence

For Those Who Listen When Words Are Absent

In the silence where shadows lie,

When words retreat and tears run dry,

When the world moves loud, without a care,

It’s then you’ll see who’s truly there.

They hear the whispers you don’t say,

The sighs that slip and fade away.

They feel the weight your heart can’t show,

The battles fought that no one knows.

Their ears attune to the quiet plea,

The muted cries, the silent "me."

No need for noise, no need for sound,

In their love, your soul is found.

So cherish those who hear your still,

Who hold you close when life feels ill.

For only they, with hearts so true,

Will find the quiet voice of you.
