The one where the alien meets Man’s best friend

Extraterrestrial challenge

By Kiesha’s DiaryPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

To welcome an alien from afar,

I'd share with them our shining star,

The sun that warms both land and sea,

A celestial marvel, come, let's see.

•••

Its golden rays at dawn's first light,

Chase away the darkest night,

A source of life, a fiery sphere,

I'd introduce to you, dear visitor, here.

•••

With sunsets painting skies so grand,

In colors across this wondrous land,

To aliens who land on our humble turf,

The first thing I'd show, a treasure of Earth,

•••

To an alien visitor, strange and rare,

I'd introduce a furry friend, beyond compare,

A playful pup with a wagging tail,

A furry comrade, they'd set sail.

•••

With floppy ears and eyes so bright,

They'd bring pure joy, day and night,

Their antics, oh, a hilarious show,

A furry bundle with a heart all aglow.

•••

Fetch and chase in a grassy park,

Barking loudly after the dark,

A loyal companion, true as can find,

A furry buddy, one of a kind.

•••

So, alien guest, meet our earthly delight,

A canine friend, he will not bite,

With tail-wagging greetings and unconditional love,

They're a gift from Earth, sent from above!
