Wintry leaves shimmer
An oak tree whispers heartfelt vows
A new path opens.
********************************************************
Branches bear their weight
A new vow etched in each leaf
The roots hold their truth.
********************************************************
Leaves fade to Earth’s hue
Not parting from the tree’s branch
Strength tested by wind.

This was so stunningly beautiful! Loved your Haikus!
Love these haikus. Born and raised in the Southern US states, I adore oak trees - their voluminous limbs and old age - so much. My banner pic on my profile page features the Angel Oak tree found on the outskirts of Charleston (my home) - it's more than 500 years old and ever so amazing - just like your haikus!
Fabulous I love that tree
