It certainly makes a commotion
when things are not the same.
Like someone giving you on Valentine's Day
a candy cane.
How about your Birthday,
you eat bread.
Were you not to have cake, instead?
Then, instead of candy on Halloween
they give you a bar of soap.
Honestly, how does anyone cope?
On Christmas, in your stocking, you find a
mouse trap.
It would have been better if you had received a
ball cap.
Now on one Wedding Day, the groom wore
the gown.
My oh my, did that bride have a frown.
St Patrick's Day would never be the same,
if it wasn't for luck.
How about they celebrate with a silly
old duck.
When things aren't the way we
think they should be.
I instead find it amusing and very interesting.
So the more uncommon,
the more interesting it becomes.
Like two odd people becoming chums.
