Another night,
Just like the rest.
Another drink,
To warm my chest.
With my heart gone cold
I failed the test,
It's barely beating,
Beneath my breast.
Against my better judgment,
Atlas, I'm here.
With all the rivalry
I should show fear.
But I'm too courageous,
And far too brave.
To be completely honest,
I couldn't stay away.
I'm at the gate to
Capulet.
I passed the guards,
No need to fret.
Trouble is not why i came
At all.
A Montague at a
Capulet ball.
Through the front door,
I find my stride.
A glance around to see
What's inside.
I see gold and silver,
Paintings on the walls,
People drinking and dancing,
Laughter echoes
down the halls.
Then I catch her eyes,
In the sea of people.
I could look around,
But I would find no equal.
Here she come,
Gliding down the stairs,
My mouth wide open,
I couldn't help but stare.
With her emerald eyes,
Shiny and Bright.
My heart awoke
To pure delight.
The way her hair just
Curled and flowed.
She didn't take my heart…
She took my soul.
I knew it then
I knew it was right.
Oh Juliet,
For you I'd fight!
Oh Juliet to you,
I'd give My life.
