Choosing to Let Go Before We Drain Each Other

Rather than allowing us to drain each other, it is better to let go.

This thought brings me healing: I considered leaving you, not because you are a bad person, nor because I no longer love you, but because your attitude toward me made me feel that your world doesn't truly need me. Honestly, I could cling to you without shame, but it would be pointless.

Because when I am with you, I am not in a good place; it triggers my vulnerability, anxiety, jealousy, and insecurity, constantly drawing out the worst aspects of my personality. Rather than having us drain each other, it is better to end it.

In fact, I knew we weren't right for each other even before you did.

I still rejected everyone who was more suitable than you.

I walked a path with you that ultimately had no future.

Though short, it is unforgettable.

Why must life be like first love?

My only wish was that we wouldn't tire of each other.

On a very ordinary day, I gave up on someone very important. Although I am a little reluctant, my heart is filled with joy, and it is time for this to come to an end.

I once heard the gentlest words: "I did love someone for a long time, but don't be afraid. If you choose to love me, I will let go of the past and love you wholeheartedly."
