Nature is black and white

Oh, moon so beautiful and bright,
A glowing orb in the dark of night.
Your gentle light shines down on me,
A beacon in the darkness, wild and free.
Your phases mark the passage of time,
From new to full, a constant rhyme.
You wax and wane, a constant sight,
A reminder of the beauty in the night.
Your surface worn, a cratered face,
A map of history, a celestial place.
You ride the sky, a solitary queen,
A symbol of hope, a dream unseen.
In your soft light, I find my way,
Through the darkness, to a brighter day.
You guide me on, a constant friend,
A shining star, until the very end.
Oh, moon so beautiful and bright,
A glowing orb in the dark of night.
Forever in my heart, a special place,
A symbol of wonder, a celestial grace.
