Bathed in silver light, the moon's gentle grace,

A celestial dancer in the vast expanse of space.

Her luminous face, a beacon in the night,

Casting shadows soft with a shimmering light.

She whispers to lovers, in their secret embrace,

And listens to dreams that the lonely chase.

Her phases unfold like a cosmic ballet,

Waxing and waning in a celestial display.

Through veils of clouds or a clear night's expanse,

She watches over the world in her gentle trance.

Reflecting the sun with a serene glow,

She guides wanderers where they yearn to go.

Oh, moon of mysteries, keeper of tides,

Elegy
