I must capture her essence once more!!!
Upon these stars I delight
On this dark and dreary night
The moon I can not find
Though she said she was mine
Where could she have gone?
I haven’t seen her in so long
Universe, why have you hid her from me?
Her true countenance I must see
This night in the void of darkness
Her shining love I must harness
Did the clouds hide her from me?
The glow of her rays, all I really need
If I must I’ll even plead
Beautiful moon, come back to me!
I must find her kind, caring light
Guess I’ll wait until tomorrow night
