The Mind Games She Plays

She won’t break me, Never.

The Mind Games She Plays

She says she’s fine

then watches who believes her

asks a question

then waits for the wrong answer

smiles

but only with her teeth

and only when she’s winning

keeps a secret

just to see if you’ll guess it

starts a fire

then cries at the smoke

then walks away first

rewrites the day

so she can win the memory

calls it love

but keeps the score

and never plays fair

you speak

she hears something else

you stay

she tests how long

and if you leave

she tells herself

she knew you would

I know her better than she thinks

and I’m one step ahead always

You got to be careful of the other woman and/or man at all times when dealing with relationships. Good job.
