The Mimic

A sort of control

A little grey man

Was crashing part of your plan?

Where is the rest of your clan?

*

You pale human male

Somewhere along the long trail

But no thank you, I'm on bale

*

Tiny man from space

Whom finds himself on a chase

Could Earth be your new found place?

*

Oh you hairless ape

You know my need to escape

Here before a new landscape

*

Another lost soul

Running away from control

Here you will not find that goal

*

Again a cynic

Do you all need the clinic

Is life here my home's mimic?

*

Look at this my friend

A cigarette at it's end

Sold to people as a trend

*

That toxic object

Something you just can't reject?

Ah this feeling of deject

*

Addiction again

The people drinking champagne

And endless lines of cocaine

*

Much like my home then

I guess I can wonder when

I'll find a land of free men

I kinda suck at writing but I enjoy it

Anyway, here's a dumb little haiku:

The gunslinger draws

His opponent does the same

oh dear, they both died
