In everything I see
In everything I feel
In everything alive around me
I can hear it
A deep voice calling me
Yet when I try to answer
It quickly abandons me
I wander through the silence
Searching for the truth
In the whispers of the wind
In the wisdom of my youth
The stars above seem to know
The secrets that I seek
But their light is distant,
And they never speak
So I keep on searching,
In the depths of my soul
Hoping one day to find
What will make me whole
For in this endless quest,
Through joy and through strife
I may discover, in the end,
The true meaning of life.
