The Meaning of Life — in a Poem
Life, if well lived, is enduring however short.

Another day, another week.
Another piece of our history,
Slipping slowly into our memories.
Much was done, yet there are more to do.
Because the purpose of our being is not simply to live,
But more importantly to give.
By living we create life,
By giving we establish purpose.
There will never be enough time,
There will never be enough money.
And if we could rise above our limitation,
To see the purpose of our creation.
We will come to understand;
Time, if well spent, is enriching however poor.
Life, if well lived, is enduring however short.
This poem was a reflection on my writing, my purpose, my way of seeing my life.
