Ramblings

I'm aging

And I know I've always been

There is no way

No matter how I try, for me to be young again

*

I'm yearning

To find a sense of peace

Learning

to go with it and celebrate my journey of release

*

I'm hopeful

That there are days ahead

I'm multivocal

Experience comes with me, all the days I've lived

*

I'm changing, I know

I feel different in my skin

Deep into my bones

Rediscovering who I am

*

I'm growing

Learning there is so much more to me

Than what is showing

So much more than what is seen

*

I'm not the same

Although I am

I am reclaimed

To grow again

*

This body changes

Letting me slowly regenerate

It rearranges

My mind and soul can separate

*

Coming together once again

to find

That I begin and end

Wholly known inside my mind

Growth, maturity, acceptance of ourselves & how we are becoming--hard earned badges of every successive stage of life.

It's good to relearn about ourselves for there may have been some special attribute we have to share. Good job.
