The man crying on the train

A letter in my head

By Some GuyPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Dear random man

I saw you crying your eyes on the train

The way you were trying to hide your pain

Could your rainy eyes be something to shame

When Surrounded in a crowd of no name?

*

Using your face mask to cover your eyes

Feeling as another part of you dies

But the tears down our face for us baptize

For life without sin is life with no lies

*

Embarrassed for the strongest emotion

When bliss and anger forever present

Every tear every night fill the ocean

As for out of reach becomes life's content

*

Writing an imaginary letter

For someone I'll only ever see once

For company is not always better

When feeling like you are the village dunce

*

Sadness may seem like an endless sorrow

But cleans the slate for better tomorrow

So let there be only one thing to know

When the floods arrive you should let them flow

*

From one of many unknown passengers

You are not weak from threat of scavengers

About the Creator

I kinda suck at writing but I enjoy it

Anyway, here's a dumb little haiku:

The gunslinger draws

His opponent does the same

oh dear, they both died
