The Love You’ll Never Know

The Love You’ll Never Know

I see you laugh, I hear you talk,

Your voice, a melody I long to walk.

But here I am, so far away,

With silent love, and heartache every day.

You look at him with joyful eyes,

While I quietly fade beneath the skies.

A shadow next to the life you share,

With all my love, but none to spare.

Every night, I dream you’ll turn to me,

That in my arms, you’ll choose to be.

But I know, love isn't something to claim,

It's about letting go, in joy and pain.

I write your name in skies so bright,

Wishing on stars that never take flight.

I’d give up all just to hold you tight,

Yet keep my love out of your sight.

For love is gentle, even when unspoken,

It stays with you when dreams are broken.

If all I have are glimpses and dreams,

I’ll love you still, no matter how it seems.

No promises, no words to say,

Just love that will never fade away.

And if my destiny is to let you go,

I’ll love you always—you’ll never know.
