The Love Voyage

Here, to end the numerous cries.

The Love Voyage

I used to be alone.

Because I am who I am, it wasn’t hard to find that one—

Fruitful individual who doesn’t find themselves,

Very fruitful as spoken of;

I’ll live in your fantasies.

That dim light you so easily overlook

Due to circumstances,

Won’t stop shining.

I’ll be there to replace the bulb,

I used to be alone.

Alone to the point where I’d search…

And search...

For that gleam from my past one;

There wasn’t a very clear opening to the cave,

The Love Voyage takes you through.

Nothing but troubles,

Found in that strong rancor of mind

And soul—

I used to be alone.

Even with someone around,

In a full crowd,

In the grocery store, around the Old people

From all through the town.

Old and content, Escaping the pain of death nearby.

That refreshing,

“How are you?”

Comes so naturally, though

They used to be shy.

Give me more substance,

I used to be alone.

I’ll place my hand upon your heart,

Where that sorrow lies

And explore.

I struggle to find it.

The hidden solution..

Just as you do;

On the daily, I will stick it out

To end the numerous cries.

I used to be alone.
